Ian
I am a sophomore at Cornell University studying Human Biology, Health, and Society in the College of Human Ecology on the pre-med track. In the Feschotte Lab, I am working alongside Jaret Lieberth, studying how a primate-specific transposable-element enhancer (eNMU) regulates NMU expression in human erythropoiesis. I have a background in computational biology, having conducted transcriptomic analyses of gene expression and transposable elements in autoimmune-related conditions during my work at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research. Outside of academics and research, I am an avid golfer, play basketball, and work out regularly. I also love all genres of music. Some of my favorite artists are John Mayer, Drake and A$AP Rocky.
